This

is the first time Kantar is collaborating with China CITIC Bank on this noble

project to assist our students and future leaders of

Chinain getting a meaningful education abroad. We are proud to be part of this

venture and on behalf of Kantar, I would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation

to China CITIC Bankfor this opportunity.

今年是凯度与中信银行的首次合作，共同开展这一崇高的项目，以帮助我们的留学生和未来中国各界的领导者可以在海外接受到有意义的教育。我们很荣幸能成为本次蓝皮书计划的一分子，我谨代表凯度，对中信银行提供的这次机会表示衷心的感谢。

The

digital revolution led by Internet of Things (IoT) and growth of China on the

world stage has immense impact on the need fora well-rounded global education

for the youth. As more and more successful Chinese businesses such as Huawei

which is the topmost Chinese global brand builder as per 2019 BrandZ rankings

released last month by Kantar, compete for the global pie this need for

international outlook, ability to work across borders, localize deeply and work

virtually becomes even more important.

以物联网(IoT)为代表的数字革命以及中国在世界舞台上的快速发展，都增长了其对接受过全球化教育人才的需求。包括上月凯度发布的《2019 BrandZ中国出海品牌排行》中位列第一的华为在内，中国越来越多的成功企业都奋斗在全球市场的竞争中，对具有国际视野、跨国工作能力、本土化和可以进行线上工作的员工产生了巨大的需求。

As

part of Kantar China Graduate recruitment programme I interview candidates

educated abroad and find them brimming with confidence, aware of diverse

cultures, out of box thinking and ready to take on international assignments.

In fact, during the course of this study we have spoken to HR and professional

managers in the corporate world and they echo the same sentiment.

作为凯度中国毕业生招聘计划的一部分，我曾经面试了不少在海外接受教育的中国学生，我发现他们不仅充满自信、思维新颖，还了解不同的文化，并且随时准备好接受国际性的工作。不仅我们这样想，在招聘项目的程中，我们还与合作企业的HR和职业经理人进行了交流，他们也对海外留学生们表达了相同的观点。

However,

getting global education and choosing the right University is indeed a daunting

task with so many choices and considerations. The other day I was discussing

this with my wife who teaches at the international division of RDFZ to groom

students for education abroad. As her students and their families look for a

school halfway around the globe, they are becoming more open to choices beyond the

top, well known listed colleges so that their distinctive wants and needs are

fully met.Students are becoming more experimentative and moving away from the

herd mentality of targeting only the well-known universities. This reinforces

the importance of this book as a reference in guiding family decisions on

agency selection and on other study abroad considerations. However, students feel

the process of finding the proper school and coordinating the details remains complicated.

And more importantly, they feelas they step into the adult world learning how

to get around and simply live in a different country is a bit frightening.

然而，由于存在太多的选择和顾虑，留学生们在接受全球教育以及找到合适自己的大学的问题上都感得困难重重。前几天，我和在人大附中国际部教书的妻子探讨过这一问题，在她看来，她的学生和父母们在半个地球之外寻找留学院校的时候，不再只聚焦于顶尖、知名的学校，他们的眼光变得更加开放，这样使申请到的学校可以进一步满足他们的个性化需求。学生们正变得越来越有实验精神，不再只是关注名牌大学。这一切都提升了。《2019出国留学蓝皮》在指导留学家庭进行中介选择和解决留学顾虑方面的重要性。在学生们看来，找到合适的学校并协调留学申请中的细节仍然具有挑战。更为重要的是，他们对踏入成人世界后应该如何处理周边事务，并且如何生活在一个完全不同的国家，感到不安害怕。

China

CITIC Bank, therefore, provides an important service and responsibility in not

only helping students and their families to find the right opportunity for the

student, but in alsofacilitating the process in a way that sets the student up

to be comfortable and successful while they are so far away from home.   This bluebook is an indispensable resource

student achieve all of his or her educational and professional goals in the

most optimal and secure manner possible.
